RecreationOur community has long been a center for off-road adventures and primitive camping adventures. No where else will you find so many diverse opportunities for outdoor recreation without interference and still be so close to the conveniences of the city. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) maintains most of the open desert land surrounding Lucerne Valley and the California Department of Forestry (CDF) maintains the forest lands to our south.
